The Emory Beacon of Light, Inc., or EBOL as we have come to call it, was established in 1996 as an outgrowth of the ministries of Emory United Methodist Church. Our very first program was transitional housing of the homeless.  We actually housed families in the board room of the church, sometimes as many as 12 people separated by partitions for two months out of the year....More
